Piab’s ready-to-use KCS and piCOBOT grippers are designed for direct installation on robotic arms. Multiple mounting interface options are available according to ISO-9409-1, making installation easier on most robot brands.
KENOS vacuum grippers can handle objects of various sizes, weights, and even very complex shapes, either individually or in layers. Custom solutions are also available.
piCOBOT® is a vacuum ejector unit with integrated controls, large visual status indicators, and a user-friendly display. piCOBOT® is available with a universal electrical connection and multiple mounting options compliant with the ISO 9409-1 standard, allowing it to be configured with any collaborative robot and smaller industrial robots. Certified by Universal Robots, the gripper is directly mounted to the UR robot arm (ISO-9409-1-50-M6).
The KCS series represents a flexible gripping solution tailored for collaborative robots. It is characterized by its versatility in handling a wide variety of objects. The gripper is available either as a foam gripper or a bag-handling gripper. KCS is equipped with one or two powerful dust-resistant COAX® SX ejectors, which are easy to maintain. Thanks to the quick-connect system, detaching the gripper from the pump unit is fast and easy. Various cobot connection options according to the ISO 9409-1 standard make installation simple. Integrated control valves and a vacuum sensor are available options in the KCS configurator.
Kenos® vacuum boxes are designed and optimized for use in various applications, such as packaging, wood handling, food processing, etc. Kenos® represents a flexible solution for handling products of different shapes, sizes, and levels of porosity. Most gripping systems can be equipped with integrated vacuum generation or suitable for separate vacuum generation (pump or side-channel blower). The integrated vacuum generator is a modular multi-stage COAX® ejector, which is easy to maintain and features the most energy-efficient ejector technology on the market. The KVG gripping system’s suction pad is made from technical foam (FDA-approved pads are available). Alternatively, the KVG120C can be equipped with DURAFLEX® or Value Line® suction cups, sized 35–60 mm.
