Tapeswitch ribbon switches are based on a closed contact system and are active along their entire length. They operate with a simple and highly reliable mechanism, suitable for thousands of applications, from safety uses to standard sensing edges.
The Tapeswitch ribbon switch range is extensive, offering models with various surface materials, sensitivity levels, chemical resistance, and lengths. Ribbon switch technology is also utilized in Tapeswitch’s safety mats and safety edges. All Tapeswitch ribbon switches are available as two-wire non-safety models, four-wire Fail-Safe safety models, and two-wire EOL models for safety applications that require a dedicated control unit.
Ribbon switches are available in both factory-assembled and customizable models.
