Peeled Ballscrews

Peeled ballscrews are precision-engineered linear motion components that offer a cost-effective alternative to ground ball screws while maintaining high performance and durability. The manufacturing process involves peeling and finishing the screw shaft using specialized cutting tools, followed by precision rolling or grinding of the thread profile. This results in a smooth surface finish and improved accuracy compared to standard rolled ball screws. Due to their balance between precision and affordability, peeled ball screws are commonly used in automation systems, industrial machinery, and CNC applications where moderate positioning accuracy and high load capacity are required. They provide efficient load transmission with reduced friction, ensuring smooth motion and long service life.
