Double Loop Couplings

Double loop couplings are flexible shaft couplings designed for efficient torque transmission and compensation of misalignments. They consist of two flexible loops made from durable materials, providing high elasticity and torsional rigidity. The design allows for the accommodation of angular, axial, and radial misalignments, protecting connected components from stress and vibrations. Double loop couplings are often used in light-duty and precision applications due to their simplicity, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

DKPS Double Loop Couplings

The new double loop couplings from German manufacturer ABP-Antriebstechnik GmbH are ideal for connecting rotary sensors. The loops are made from polyurethane, providing excellent flexibility and accommodating angular misalignments. These couplings offer outstanding compensation for radial, lateral, and angular misalignments. They also feature excellent electrical and thermal insulation. The hubs, made from galvanized steel, include two DIN 916 set screws. The couplings can operate within a wide temperature range of -30 °C to +80 °C and are available in four different length options: 29 mm, 35 mm, 46 mm, and 56 mm. Bore diameters range from 4 to 19 mm.

These couplings are flexible shaft couplings designed for efficient torque transmission and misalignment compensation. Comprising two flexible loops made from durable materials, they offer high flexibility and torsional rigidity. The design accommodates angular, axial, and radial misalignments, protecting connected components from stress and vibrations. These couplings are frequently used in light-duty and precision applications due to their simplicity, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Speed: 3,000 min⁻¹

Double loop couplings are flexible shaft couplings that transmit torque between two shafts and compensate for misalignments. They consist of two flexible loops that allow for angular, axial, and radial deviations.

They are used in light-duty and precision applications, such as small motors, pump systems, medical devices, and laboratory equipment, where flexibility and vibration damping are required.

These couplings provide flexibility for compensating misalignments, reduce vibrations, and protect the system from stress. Additionally, they are simple, reliable, and cost-effective.

These couplings are often made from durable and flexible materials, such as nylon, polyurethane, or steel, which provide the necessary flexibility and durability.

The correct component is selected based on application requirements, such as shaft diameter, torque, operating speed, and alignment errors. It is essential to ensure the coupling can withstand operating conditions, including temperatures and loads.
