Tapeswitch safety bumpers are sensors designed to prevent impacts on people or equipment. Safety bumpers are ideal for situations requiring a longer stopping distance than standard safety edges. When the bumper is compressed, it generates an emergency stop signal. After the signal is issued, the bumper has a compression distance within which the machine must stop to prevent accidents.
